Fans of Hokuto no Ken -FIST OF THE NORTH STAR- have a new reason to celebrate: the popular no-miss character lottery Ichiban Kuji is getting a dedicated Hokuto no Ken set, complete with high-end figures, drinkware, busts, and more. The lineup is scheduled to go on sale in Japan starting June 20, 2026.
A Legend Returns
Originally created by writer Buronson and artist Tetsuo Hara, the manga Hokuto no Ken ran in Weekly Shonen Jump from 1983 to 1988 and was adapted into a TV anime in 1984, cementing its place as one of the defining shonen titles of the 1980s. Iconic lines like “You are already dead” and “Hidebu” have lived on in pop culture long after the series ended. A brand-new anime, Hokuto no Ken -FIST OF THE NORTH STAR-, began airing in April 2026, with Shunsuke Takeuchi voicing protagonist Kenshiro — the 64th successor of the assassination art Hokuto Shinken — and Yuichi Nakamura voicing Rei, successor of Nanto Suichoken.

Release Details
Ichiban Kuji Hokuto no Ken -FIST OF THE NORTH STAR- will go on sale at Lawson convenience stores, bookstores, hobby shops, and official Ichiban Kuji shops across Japan from June 20, 2026. The Ichiban Kuji ONLINE store will open orders from June 22, 2026 at 17:00 JST. Each pull is priced at ¥850 (tax included).
