สกินต์คอลแลบ MAYLA x 劇場版モノノ怪 第三章 蛇神 รุ่น "ยาคุริ" และ "คามิกิ"

Japanese fashion brand MAYLA — known for its tagline “raises your body temperature by 2°C” — will open pre-orders for the Gekijōban Mononoke Dai-san-shō: Jagami Iconic Skirt collaboration on June 16, 2026 at 5:00 PM JST via its official online store.

About Gekijōban Mononoke

Mononoke originated from the “Bakeneko” arc of the 2006 anthology series Ayakashi: Samurai Horror Tales, before spinning off into its own TV anime series the following year. The story follows a mysterious traveling medicine seller known as the Kusuriya, who wanders the land exorcising mononoke — supernatural entities born from deep human emotions and grudges.

A theatrical trilogy set within the Ōoku (the inner chambers of Edo Castle) launched in 2024, comprising Gekijōban Mononoke: Karakasa (July 2024) and Gekijōban Mononoke Dai-ni-shō: Hinezumi (March 2025). The concluding chapter, Gekijōban Mononoke Dai-san-shō: Jagami, depicting the final “Ritual of Salvation,” has been screening in Japanese cinemas since May 29, 2025.

The Two Skirt Designs

Kusuriya Model [NV]

Built on an original MAYLA-produced textile, this skirt weaves in motifs central to the Kusuriya character: his costume patterns, scales, paper talismans, carrying frame, and mirror. The delicate, high-quality fabric carries a washi-paper nuance with layered, multi-tonal coloring that blurs the line between fantasy and reality. The overall composition evokes the trilogy’s core concepts of Katachi · Makoto · Kotowari (Form · Truth · Reason).

Kamigi Model [WH]

Psychedelic and deeply mysterious, this design combines facial markings, the halo of the demon-slaying sword, swirling clouds, and background motifs. The fine fabric is treated to suggest crimson ink bleeding into washi paper, recreating the film’s signature atmosphere where dread and beauty coexist.

Shared Design Details

  • Both skirts feature a tie-back ribbon at the rear, evoking the look of a traditional kimono obi sash.
  • A metal motif charm at the waist references the force that guides the Kusuriya toward each mononoke.
  • A chain that can be draped from the back ribbon symbolizes the themes of enishi (fateful bonds) and inga (karmic cause and effect) that run throughout the film.
