The light anime 身代わり令嬢を救ったのは冷酷無慈悲な氷の王子の愛でした (Migawari Reijou wo Sukutta no wa Reikoku Mujihi na Koori no Ouji no Ai deshita) has unveiled a new batch of cast members, its second teaser PV, and its ending theme song details.
About the Series
Based on the original story by Yakiimo Hokuhoku with manga art by Kusabi Kurokawa, the series is published under the isekai fantasy label comic Spira. The story follows Katrina, a young woman sent to a remote frontier territory as a stand-in for her stepsister who caused a scandal at a social gathering. There, she gradually falls in love with Clarence, the cold and ruthless prince who rules the land.

Ending Theme: “Tokete Kiraru”
The ending theme 「とけて煌る」 (Tokete Kiraru) will be performed by neNna, with lyrics and music composed by Sasano Marie.
neNna commented that it is a great honour to perform her first-ever anime ending theme with this project, noting that the song captures Katrina’s painful past and the cries of her heart, drawing on every emotion she felt while reading the source material.
Composer Sasano Marie explained that the track was crafted with a driving, icy rhythm befitting the story’s world, while also conveying the warmth of love at its core — shaped to let neNna’s vocal charm shine through.
Broadcast Information
The anime premieres on tvk (Television Kanagawa) on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, airing every Tuesday from 21:55 to 22:00. Streaming via d Anime Store and Anime Times is planned to begin immediately after the terrestrial broadcast.
