The yuri manga Inu mo Arukeba Hime ni Ataru (犬も歩けば姫に当たる) by Kanno Fumi released its first volume digitally on June 26 under the Jirumite imprint of publisher forcs.
Story
The protagonist, Inumata Shiori, is a workaholic editor so incapable of saying no that her colleagues have nicknamed her the “loyal dog.” When a writer she handles calls her out late one night for research purposes, she finds herself stepping into a cabaret club for the very first time.
There she encounters Miyu, the club’s number-one hostess, whose charm hits Shiori like a freight train. Sensing danger, she vows never to return — only to ruin everything the same evening by drinking far too much and vomiting on Miyu’s outfit.
As penance, Shiori officially accepts the role of Miyu’s “dog,” kicking off a master-and-servant romantic comedy between a high-powered editor and the reigning queen of the cabaret floor.
