The production team behind the Bananya anime franchise officially announced on Tuesday a brand-new television anime titled Bananya At Home Party, created to mark the 10th anniversary of the original Bananya series. The announcement came alongside the anime’s main promotional video, key visual, cast and staff details, and a confirmed premiere date of July 10.
The promotional video also previews the theme song “Nyan-derful☆Nyan-derland”, performed by TAMAchan.
Story
The new anime follows a kitten who wakes up in an unfamiliar world populated by Bananya creatures, only to discover that it has become a Bananya itself. The kitten then joins its new Bananya companions on a journey through forests and mountains to recover a small one’s lost, precious shiny treasure.
Cast
Returning franchise veterans Yūki Kaji and Ayumu Murase reprise their roles as Bananya and Baby Sweet, respectively, along with other characters. Three new guest cast members make their franchise debuts:
- Atsumi Tanezaki as Nora Bananya
- Yuina Itō as Chibi Bananya
- Toshiyuki Morikawa as Noppo Bananya

Kyō Yatate (Sockie’s Frontier Quest) returns as director at TMS Entertainment Studio 6 and Lesprit, also handling animation character design and storyboards. Masahiro Takata (Super Seisyun Brothers) returns as series scriptwriter. Additional staff includes:

Premiere & Streaming
The anime debuts in Japan on July 10 at 9:00 a.m. JST on d Anime Store, U-NEXT, DMM TV, Anime Hōdai, and other streaming platforms. Crunchyroll will host the anime’s world premiere at Anime Expo on July 4.
About the Bananya Franchise
Q-LiA launched the Bananya mascot character in 2015. The first television anime aired in summer 2016, with Crunchyroll streaming it internationally and Discotek releasing it on Blu-ray and DVD with an English dub in 2018. A second season followed in fall 2019, and the third season, Bananya Around the World, debuted in October 2024 — also streamed by Crunchyroll.
