A new candy collectible has been announced to coincide with the upcoming theatrical release of Eiga Meitantei Precure! Fushigi na Niwa to Futari no Himitsu (映画名探偵プリキュア！不思議な庭と2人の秘密 — Detective Precure the Movie: The Mysterious Garden and the Two Girls’ Secret), set to open across Japan on 18 September 2026. The product in question is the Kirakira Card Gummy (キラキラカードグミ), a pack of strawberry-flavoured gummy candy bundled with a collectible trading card.
About Meitantei Precure!
Meitantei Precure! is the 23rd entry in the long-running Precure franchise, which began broadcasting on 1 February 2026. The series follows Akechi Anna, a 14-year-old second-year middle school student living in Makoto Mirai Town, who is mysteriously transported back in time to 1999. There she meets Kobayashi Mikuru, a girl her own age who dreams of becoming a great detective. Together they transform into the “Detective Precure” to help people whose precious belongings have been stolen, standing up against the phantom thief gang known as Phantom (怪盗団ファントム).
Card Gummy Details
Each pack contains one trading card featuring either newly drawn original illustrations or teaser visuals from the film. All cards have a glossy finish, and out of the 23 designs in the complete set, 4 are Holo Rare Cards (ホロレアカード) — premium cards that shimmer with a holographic effect. The accompanying gummy candy is strawberry flavoured.
The set also includes specially drawn cards featuring characters from Kimi Precure (キミプリ) and Wan Precure (わんぷり), giving fans of multiple Precure series even more reason to collect.
