Aniplex debuted a new trailer for Mashle: Magic and Muscles – Tri-Magicathalon Divine Visionary Final Exam Arc during its industry panel at Anime Expo, confirming that the third season of the anime adaptation of Hajime Kōmoto‘s manga will premiere in January 2027.

Staff — One Key Change
Director Tomoya Tanaka (A-1 Pictures), series composition writer Yōsuke Kuroda, and composer Masaru Yokoyama all return for the new season. However, character designer Hisashi Higashijima is being replaced by Chiaki Furuzumi, who served as chief animation director and sub-character designer on both seasons of Solo Leveling.
Series Background
The anime’s first season premiered in Japan in April 2023 and ran for 12 episodes; the second season followed in January 2024 for another 12 episodes. Crunchyroll simulcast both seasons and produced English dubs for each. The overall anime project is described as a complete adaptation of the source material.
The manga ran in Weekly Shonen Jump from January 2020 to July 2023, concluding with 18 compiled volumes. The final volume and a companion fanbook were released in October 2023. Viz Media and Shueisha’s MANGA Plus service publish the manga digitally in English, with Viz Media also offering a print edition. The franchise additionally encompasses several novels, two stage play adaptations, and the smartphone puzzle game Mashle: Muscle Puzzle, which launched in April 2025.
