Episode 1 Synopsis
The series is a revenge fantasy following Elisabeth, a noble lady who devoted everything to her homeland only to be cruelly betrayed. In the opening episode, Elisabeth — who has faithfully served the people as the Crown Prince’s fiancée — is falsely accused of a crime by the very prince who has turned his affections toward another woman. She is abruptly stripped of her engagement and sentenced to imprisonment in an underground dungeon. Abandoned by both the king and her own father, the kingdom’s prime minister, Elisabeth seizes the sacred “Seven Grimoires” and resolves to defect to the neighboring Youtia Empire, swearing to exact revenge through connections, economic power, and military force.
