After War Gundam X (機動新世紀ガンダムX), which first aired on April 5, 1996, is marking its 30th anniversary with a special event at TOHO Cinemas Lalaport Fukuoka on August 1.
Special Screening with Audience Participation
The event will feature a curated selection of episodes from the TV series — episodes 2, 7, 31, and 34 — screened in an ōen jōei (audience-participation) format, where attendees are encouraged to cheer and react aloud during the screening. Following the films, Wataru Takagi (voice of Garrod Ran) and Mika Kanai (voice of Tiffa Adill) will take the stage for a post-screening greeting.
Exclusive Talk Show via Lottery
After the screening, the two voice actors will hold a talk show at the Central Media Park on the first floor of the Lalaport Fukuoka mall building. They are expected to share behind-the-scenes memories from the original production as well as thoughts and reflections that can only be shared now, 30 years on.
The talk show has 250 seats and is open exclusively to winners of a lottery that begins on July 11 inside Gundam Park Fukuoka. Details on how to enter the lottery will be announced on the official GUNDAM SIDE-F website at a later date.
Gundam Stamp Rally at Lalaport Fukuoka
Running from July 18 to August 30, the Gundam Stamp Rally in Lalaport Fukuoka invites visitors to explore the mall and collect stamps from six designated locations on a special stamp sheet. Completing all six stamps reveals a commemorative 30th-anniversary visual for After War Gundam X.
Participants who fill their stamp sheet can present it at one of three stores inside Gundam Park Fukuoka — GUNDAM SIDE-F, VS PARK WITH G, or namco — to receive an exclusive bonus gift. Each store offers a different reward, and each completed sheet can only be redeemed at one store.
