About the Series
Based on the manga by Gaku Kuze, Uramichi Oniisan originally aired from July to September 2021. The series follows Uramichi Omoteда, the gymnastics instructor on a children’s TV program called Maman to Together. Despite his best efforts to keep a cheerful face for the kids, he has a habit of letting his deeply cynical, adult worldview slip through — resulting in a darkly comedic take on the “friendly big brother” archetype.
