คีย์วิชวลชุดที่ 2 ของงาน Haikyuu!! Exhibition: Challengers แสดงภาพฮินาตะ โชโย กำลังกระโดดพุ่งขึ้น วาดโดย Furudate Haruichi

The third official art exhibition for the manga Haikyuu!!, titled “Furudate Haruichi Haikyuu!! Exhibition: Challengers”, has revealed its second drawn-for-exhibition key visual: “Approach Run (Hinata Shoyo)”, created by series author Furudate Haruichi. The image was posted to the exhibition’s official X account and immediately sparked an outpouring of emotion from fans worldwide.

About Haikyuu!!

Haikyuu!! by Furudate Haruichi began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump in 2012 and is widely regarded as a landmark sports manga. Although the series concluded in 2020, it continues to attract passionate fans both in Japan and internationally through anime adaptations, stage productions, and other media. As of April 2026, the series’ cumulative print and digital sales have surpassed 75 million copies.

The Second Key Visual

Following the first key visual, “Stand Tall”, released in April, this second illustration places protagonist Hinata Shoyo at its center — leaping powerfully into the air — while the background is filled with teammates, rivals, and pivotal moments from his journey, all rendered from Hinata’s own perspective. The result is a deeply personal retrospective of his growth as a player.

Fan Reactions

The post quickly accumulated over 79,000 likes, with the comment section flooded with emotional responses, including:

  • “Just this key visual alone makes me feel how much Hinata has grown — I’m already crying.”
  • “Drawing the background from the protagonist’s point of view? Pure genius.”
  • “Why am I crying just from looking at this picture?!”
  • “Every encounter became a part of Hinata — this is too much, I’m tearing up.”
  • “Kageyama looks so good in this.”
  • “It starts with facing Kageyama and ends with them playing in the same match — and the fact that it’s just beginning again makes me cry.”
  • “Wait wait wait wait!!!! This is too good!!!!”

Kaji Yuki Weighs In

Voice actor Kaji Yuki, who plays Kozume Kenma in the series, shared the post with a heartfelt comment: “Seeing the memorable moments through Shoyo’s eyes — it’s touching to know these instants left such an impression on him. And I’m so glad Kenma gets to be part of that history.”
