Kadokawa announced on Wednesday that Agri Uma‘s manga Studio Cabana is getting a television anime adaptation, slated to premiere in 2027.

Sayumi Suzushiro returns to voice protagonist Yukari Maki, reprising the role she first played in a 2022 promotional video for the manga. The voice actor for Yūsuke Kusaka has not yet been announced, though a character visual for him has been revealed.

Story
Yukari Maki is a high school girl who prides herself on honesty, and she can’t help feeling that she and her delinquent classmate Yusuke Kusaka have absolutely nothing in common. Her no-nonsense insistence on keeping him in line earns her an almost chaperone-like reputation — and his clear disdain. Even so, when a rumor about Yusuke starts to circulate, Yukari refuses to let it spread. She follows him home to talk it over, only to watch him duck into a music studio. Inside, she discovers a side of Yusuke she never could have imagined.
About the Manga
Uma launched Studio Cabana in Kadokawa’s pixiv Sylph online magazine in June 2021. The eighth compiled volume was released in November 2025, with the ninth volume due out on August 21. Yen Press holds the English-language license and plans to begin releasing the manga in winter 2027.
