The TV anime Yani Neko (ヤニねこ), based on the manga by Nyannyan Factory serialised in Kodansha’s Young Magazine, has released a preview video for its fourth episode. The clip also confirms that Nakabayashi Ninatsu (中林新夏) voices Ji-kaki Neko (字書きねこ — Writer Cat), a new character making her debut in the episode.
Episode 4 Synopsis — “Everyone Around Me Is a Weirdo”
Episode 4, titled “Nyaa no Mawari wa Henjin Bakari nya” (“Everyone Around Me Is a Weirdo”), follows Yani Neko — a cat who somehow manages to cause trouble no matter how hard she tries to help or work — after she is fired from her part-time job. She ends up becoming the assistant of Ochinpo Tatsuro, an erotic manga artist who lives in the same apartment building.
Things quickly go sideways when Yani Neko accidentally scorches Ochinpo Tatsuro’s manuscript, forcing her to make amends. To make matters worse, the police then show up at Ochinpo Tatsuro’s door…
Episode 4 airs on July 23.
