The anime Cardfight!! Vanguard Divinez: Unmei Hoshi Taisen-hen has revealed its official key visual, promotional video, and theme song details ahead of its theatrical and television premiere.

The Final Chapter of Divinez

A direct sequel to Divinez: Genshin Hoshi Taisen-hen, Unmei Hoshi Taisen-hen is the concluding arc of the entire Divinez series, spanning three episodes. It will begin broadcasting on TV Aichi and the six-station TV Tokyo network, as well as BS Nippon TV, on Saturdays — November 7, 14, and 21, 2026. A theatrical advance screening kicks off on October 2, 2026.

Theme Song “Escape” by Kis-My-Ft2

The theme song for the arc is “Escape,” a new track by idol group Kis-My-Ft2. The lyrics were penned by Miyata Toshiya, a member of the group who also voices the protagonist Akina (明導アキナ). Miyata said he sought the group’s approval before writing the lyrics, given his deep attachment to the series, and expressed confidence that the song brings out the appeal of the story, the grandeur of Divinez, and the coolness of Kis-My-Ft2 to the fullest. The PV includes a preview of “Escape” and offers the first look at the new Rezael form, “Tsuki no Kiseki Rezael Veritas” (月の奇跡 レザエル・ヴェリタス).

Theatrical Admission Bonuses

Two rounds of admission bonuses have been announced for theatrical screenings:

• Round 1: A special bonus comic created by Heiwa Raichi (artist on Cardfight!! Vanguard G Stride Generation) and series composer Kyujo Haru.
• Round 2: An exclusive Vanguard PR card.

Select theaters will also hold an advance sale of the booster pack “Unmei Hoshi Taisen,” which includes DSR (Dress Secret Rare) cards of Akina and “Tsuki no Kiseki Rezael Veritas” featuring newly drawn artwork by CLAMP, the original character designers.

Stage Greeting Events

To commemorate the theatrical release, stage greeting screenings will be held in Kyoto (October 2), Aichi (October 3), and Tokyo (October 4), with Miyata Toshiya attending all three events.

Special Program: “Miyata Toshiya’s Final Turn”

A five-episode support TV special titled “Miyata Toshiya no Final Turn ~Vanguard Divinez Unmei Hoshi Taisen-hen Ouen TV~” will begin airing on August 29. The program features voice cast members including Miyata Toshiya (Akina), Yukimura Eri (Hikari/Erika), Nishio Yuka (Nao), Kawashima Reiji (Suou), Morishima Shuta (Masanori), and Mano Takumi (Taizo).

Mini-Anime: “Ghost Meets Gal” (ごーすと・みーつ・ぎゃる！)

In a separate announcement, the official Cardfight!! Vanguard X (Twitter) account’s serialized Kaeru DX comic strip “ごーすと・みーつ・ぎゃる！” (Ghost Meets Gal) has been greenlit as a mini-anime series. Each episode runs 90 seconds of main content plus a 30-second theme song segment. The series premieres on Saturday, September 5, 2026 on TV Aichi / the TV Tokyo six-station network and BS Nippon TV.

The cast includes Kagamu Kari as Lubna and Nishio Yuka as Santi. Production is handled by AtoriE, and the theme song is “Nikoichi Mirai” by Mugendai Myutaipu (夢限大みゅーたいぷ).
