The special is an approximately one-hour edit of the live event MUSIC AWARDS JAPAN WEEK SPECIAL LIVE: リスアニ！LIVE on TOKYO ANIME MUSIC HIGHLIGHTS, held on June 9 at TOYOTA ARENA TOKYO. The concert was part of MUSIC AWARDS JAPAN 2026, Japan’s largest international music awards, and was billed as “an anime music festival performed entirely with a live band, sent from Japan to the world.”
