The TV anime Tenmaku no Jādūgal (天幕のジャードゥーガル) has released the synopsis and advance scene cuts for Episode 5, “A Snake’s Markings Are on the Outside; A Person’s Markings Are on the Inside,” set to broadcast on Saturday, July 25, 2026, on TV Asahi’s nationwide “IMAnimation” block and BS Asahi.
About the Series
Tenmaku no Jādūgal is a TV anime adaptation of the historical manga by Tomato Soup, serialized in Akita Shoten’s magazine Souffle, with five compiled volumes currently on sale. Set in 13th-century Mongolia, the story follows Sitara (Fātima), a former slave girl taken captive by the Mongol Empire, who encounters Döregene, the sixth wife of the Mongol emperor — a woman who harbors her own complicated feelings toward the empire. Together, the two use their wits to shake the very foundations of imperial power.

Episode 5 Synopsis
Acting on a secret order from Sorqoqtani, Sitara sets out to investigate the movements of Chagatai, the second prince whose actions could ignite conflict. With Shira’s help, she manages to put everything in place without a hitch.
But just as things seem to be going smoothly, Sitara is suddenly accused of theft by Döregene, the sixth consort of third prince Ögedei — all because she happened to be carrying a “Jada stone” on her person. She finds herself cornered and pressed for answers.
Broadcast Schedule
Tenmaku no Jādūgal began airing on Saturday, July 4, 2026, with a special two-episode premiere broadcast on TV Asahi’s “IMAnimation” block and BS Asahi. Regular episodes air every Saturday at 11:30 p.m. Episode 5 airs Saturday, July 25, 2026.
