ภาพประชาสัมพันธ์動畫สั้น Yūsanchi! จาก Yū-hachi

Fuji TV announced on Friday that three manga series by artist Yū-hachiDekai Hachi, Miseban no Spis, and Ah, Tanuki wa Mō Dame Desu — will be brought together in an omnibus short anime titled Yūsanchi! from Yū-hachi. The series is set to premiere in October within Fuji TV’s Nonstop! program and Kansai TV’s Shunkan Live Toretate! program.

Staff and Studio

Rarecho, known for directing Aggretsuko, is handling the direction and scripts for the Miseban no Spis and Ah, Tanuki wa Mō Dame Desu segments. Meanwhile, Gaku Kinoshita of Sumikko Gurashi: Koko ga Ochitsukun Desu is directing and scripting the Dekai Hachi segments. Fanworks is producing the animation for the entire series.

Story Segments

  • Dekai Hachi — Follows the daily life of the titular creature, a being roughly 40 cm (about 1 foot 3 inches) tall, living alongside humans.
  • Miseban no Spis — Centers on a mysterious fish that suddenly appears one day out of nowhere.
  • Ah, Tanuki wa Mō Dame Desu — Revolves around a tanuki that gets rented out by various people.

Source Manga

Yū-hachi publishes both Dekai Hachi and Miseban no Spis on pixiv. Square Enix released a compiled volume of Miseban no Spis in July 2024. Ah, Tanuki wa Mō Dame Desu is serialized on Yū-hachi’s X/Twitter account and on Kadokawa’s KadoComi website; Kadokawa released a compiled volume of that manga in June 2025.
