The classic racing anime series Shin Seiki GPX Cyber Formula is set to mark its 35th anniversary in grand style with the “Shin Seiki GPX Cyber Formula 35th Anniversary Festival -Eikou no Winners-“, scheduled for January 9, 2027 at the Misato City Cultural Hall in Saitama Prefecture. A teaser visual for the event has also been released.
Event Details and Participants
The event will be held in two sessions — an afternoon show and an evening show. Series staff in attendance will include directors and creators Mitsuo Fukuda, Shoji Kawamori, and Satoshi Shigeta.
Voice actors appearing in both sessions include:
- Junichi Kanamaru — Hayato Kazami
- Kotono Mitsuishi — Asuka Sugo
- Sho Hayami — Knight Schumacher (Osamu Sugo)
- Toshihiko Seki — Bleed Kaga
Appearing in the afternoon session only: Ryotaro Okiayu (Franz Heinel) and Bin Shimada (Jackie Guderian). Appearing in the evening session only: Kenichi Ono (Asurada) and Hikaru Midorikawa (Naoki Shinjyo).
Theme song artists Hironobu Kageyama, Aki Misato, and Dynamite Shige will perform at the event, with Atsuko Enomoto serving as MC.

New Megahouse Products
Megahouse has also announced two new merchandise items tied to the anniversary:
- Shin Seiki GPX Cyber Formula Zenith Asurada AKF-S0/G Roll-Out Set — A model of the machine featured in the new short anime, recreating its special roll-out color scheme. Comes with a booklet containing design documents and comments from the production team.
- Shin Seiki GPX Cyber Formula Super Asurada 01 Circuit Mode NEON Ver. — A new version of the Super Asurada 01 Circuit Mode dressed in a cyber-inspired color palette.
Special Music Box Set
The TV series theme songs “I’ll come” and “Winners” will be released as a special box set on January 9, 2027, priced at ¥9,980 (tax included). The set includes a reissue CD single, an analog vinyl record, and an original T-shirt. This marks the sixth installment of the Shin Seiki GPX Cyber Formula SOUND TOURS series, and features a reissue of both tracks on 8 cm tanzaku-format CD singles.
Mega Hobby EXPO 2026 F-DASH!!!
Prior to the main festival, a display event called 「Mega Hobby EXPO 2026 F-DASH!!!」 will be held on September 26 at Akihabara UDX. The event will showcase a model of the Zenith Asurada from the new short anime, along with a special ride experience where participants can sit inside a replica of the machine. During the ride, Kenichi Ono will voice Asurada in real time, calling out the participant’s name and speaking directly to them. The ride experience requires advance registration; details will be announced via Megahouse’s official X account.
A Cyber Formula stage event will also take place at the expo, featuring new information about the upcoming short anime, behind-the-scenes talk, and introductions to new Megahouse products. Attendance is by advance lottery application, open until August 7 at 23:59 via the Stagecrowd website.
