Natalie Store has launched a new collection of Popee the Performer merchandise, comprising 10 items in total. The standout feature of the lineup is the use of original storyboards from the anime’s production era, reproduced directly onto apparel and accessories.
Storyboard-Printed T-Shirts and Long-Sleeve Shirts
The centrepiece items are T-shirts and long-sleeve shirts based on the storyboard from Episode 21, “SUPER STRENGTH” (怪力芸). The panels are laid out in a manga-style grid that follows the episode’s narrative from beginning to end, preserving the rough linework and raw energy of the original storyboard drawings.
Joining them are a T-shirt and long-sleeve shirt using storyboard art from Episode 34, “OPENING”, which scatter illustrations of both Popee and Kedamono across the garment. Also in the lineup is the “KEDAMONO LOVES CHICKEN” T-shirt — an American diner-themed design inspired by Kedamono’s beloved fried chicken — and a T-shirt themed around Episode 17, “POISON” (毒薬), featuring eye-catching American comic-style artwork.
Tote Bag, Pouch, Coaster, and Sticker Set
Beyond apparel, the collection includes a storyboard tote bag drawn from Episode 4, “KNIFE THROWER” (ナイフ投げ), showcasing a shocking scene alongside an image of a dejected Kedamono. There is also a DVD package-style pouch, a “squashed” coaster that makes it look as though a character has been flattened under your cup or glass, and a Sticker Set Chapter 2 collecting memorable scenes from the anime.
In addition to the new items, select previously released goods — including plush mascots and earlier apparel — will be made available for re-sale.
