To celebrate the 15th anniversary of Mawaru Penguindrum (輪るピングドラム), both films in the 劇場版 RE:cycle of the PENGUINDRUM series are set for a limited revival run at 10 cinemas across Japan, with each film screening for one week only.

- RE:cycle of the PENGUINDRUM [Part 1]: Your Train Is the Survival Strategy — September 25 to October 1
- RE:cycle of the PENGUINDRUM [Part 2]: I Love You — October 2 to 8
Attendees will receive an exclusive smartphone-sized sticker featuring the film’s key poster visual as an entry gift.
Special Talk Show at Grand Cinema Sunshine Ikebukuro
Alongside the revival screenings, a special talk show event will be held at Grand Cinema Sunshine Ikebukuro in Tokyo on September 27, featuring:
- Kimura Subaru — voice of Takakura Kanba
- Ikuhara Kunihiko — director
The talk show will take place on two occasions: after the 14:25 screening and before the 17:50 screening. Ticketing details are to be announced at a later date.
Fan Q&A Submissions Open
The official anime team is also accepting fan questions via an online form on the official website. Selected questions will be featured or used in future projects and events related to the series.
About Mawaru Penguindrum
Mawaru Penguindrum first aired on television in July 2011. An original work by director Ikuhara Kunihiko — known for Revolutionary Girl Utena — the series features character designs by Hoshino Lily. The story follows three siblings, Takakura Kanba, Takakura Shoma, and Takakura Himari, alongside high school student Oginome Ringo, as they become entangled in the mystery surrounding the enigmatic “Penguindrum.”
