The life-size Unicorn Gundam statue at Diver City Tokyo Plaza in Odaiba, Tokyo — a beloved landmark since its debut in September 2017 — will conclude its nearly nine-year exhibition run on August 31, 2026. To mark the occasion, organizers have launched a series of finale events running from August 22.
Special Finale Video: “UNICORN GUNDAM Statue ― BEYOND POSSIBILITY ―”
The centerpiece of the farewell celebrations is a special presentation titled “UNICORN GUNDAM Statue ― BEYOND POSSIBILITY ―”, which synchronizes the statue’s light-and-sound performance with a large-scale wall projection on the Diver City Tokyo Plaza building, known as WALL-G. The show runs exclusively for 10 days, from August 22 to August 31, 2026.
The statue is currently on display in a specially decorated form designed by mechanical designer Katoki Hajime, designated RX-0 Unicorn Gundam Ver. TWC FINAL.

Exhibition and In-Store Events
Inside THE GUNDAM BASE TOKYO ANNEX, visitors can explore a panel exhibition tracing the statue’s history across its nearly nine-year run, alongside a diorama display of the iconic structure.
Message boards have been set up at the GUNDAM Cafe Kitchen Car and THE GUNDAM BASE TOKYO, inviting fans to write farewell messages to the statue.
Limited Merchandise and Giveaways
The GUNDAM Cafe Kitchen Car is serving a special Unicorn Gundam Statue shaved-ice dessert with an exclusive original cup sleeve. Fans who purchase any item from the Kitchen Car will also receive a complimentary Unicorn Gundam headband — one per item purchased — perfect for a commemorative photo with the statue.
Meanwhile, shoppers at Diver City Tokyo Plaza can receive a free Unicorn Gundam statue hologram sticker by presenting a receipt of ¥3,000 or more (tax included) from any participating store at the designated redemption point. This offer runs through August 31, 2026.
With the curtain set to fall on one of Tokyo’s most recognizable Gundam landmarks, fans are encouraged to make the trip to Odaiba and bid farewell in style before the end of August.
