โลโก้ครบรอบ 15 ปี มังงะ Yama no Susume

To mark the 15th anniversary of its serialization, Yama no Susume (ヤマノススメ) by manga artist Shiro unveiled a special anniversary logo on August 11 — Japan’s national Mountain Day (山の日, Yama no Hi). The milestone was accompanied by a series of celebratory campaigns for fans.

100 Chapters Free to Read on Comic Earth Star

The centerpiece of the anniversary celebration is a limited-time free reading event on Comic Earth Star, where 100 chapters of the manga will be made available at no cost. The campaign runs from August 13 at 6:00 PM through August 31 at 11:59 PM (JST), giving both new readers and longtime fans a chance to dive into the series.

QUO Card Giveaway Campaign

Comic Earth Star’s official X (formerly Twitter) account is also running a giveaway campaign, offering winners an original QUO Card set featuring Yama no Susume illustrations, valued at 2,500 yen.

About Yama no Susume

Yama no Susume has been serialized on Comic Earth Star since 2011. The story follows Aoi, a girl with a fear of heights, who unexpectedly reunites with her childhood friend Hinata and gradually discovers a passion for mountain climbing. Together with their friends, they tackle various peaks while growing along the way.

The series surpassed a cumulative 1 million copies sold in 2024, with the manga currently collected up to volume 27. It has been adapted into a TV anime four times: the original series in 2013, a second season in 2014, a third season in 2018, and most recently Yama no Susume: Next Summit in 2022.
