The TV anime Yowaki MAX Reijo nano ni, Rakuwan Kon’yakusha-sama no Kake ni Notte Shimatta has announced that voice actress Shizuka Ishigami will join the cast as the childhood version of Rufus Stan. The production also unveiled the August seasonal visual and an accompanying voice-drama clip.
About the Series
The show follows a protagonist who is reincarnated as Pia Rockwell, the villainess of an otome game. Timid to the extreme, she nevertheless finds herself drawn into a bet with her fiancé Rufus Stan — the capable and sharp-minded son of the prime minister. The series is described as a “villainess doting love comedy.”
Shizuka Ishigami as Young Rufus
Ishigami previously voiced young Rufus in the series’ voice drama, and she now continues the role in the TV anime. In her comment, she said:
“I’m Shizuka Ishigami, and I’ll be playing young Rufus. I was so happy to reprise this role from the voice drama. Ever since those recording sessions, I’d been hoping to one day see Pia and Rufus moving around in an anime — and now that dream has come true! Young Rufus already shows off his ‘capable’ side, but there are also scenes where he genuinely treasures Pia, so please look forward to watching how their relationship unfolds!”
August Seasonal Visual
The August visual carries the theme “Two on a Summer’s Day.” It depicts Pia sleeping contentedly after a fossil-hunting excursion, while a flustered Rufus is caught off guard by her drowsy, unintentional embrace — a warm and charming snapshot perfectly in keeping with the series’ tone.
Advance Screening Event
An advance screening event is scheduled for September 5 at Aeon Cinema Itabashi in Tokyo. Episodes 1 and 2 will be screened, followed by a talk show featuring:

- Rina Hidaka (Caroline Ramsey)
- Sora Amamiya (Erin White)
A lottery ticket sale is now open, with applications accepted until August 31. Results will be announced on September 1 at 6:00 p.m.
