The official teaser PV for the second cour of TV anime Daiya no A actII -Second Season- has been released. The series is based on the manga by Yuji Terajima.
What the Teaser Shows
The teaser opens on a gut-wrenching scene: the Seidou nine in tears after being stopped by Inashiro Jitsugyo in last summer’s tournament, their dream of reaching Koshien dashed. Now fate has brought the same two rivals together again — this time in the finals.
Seidou takes the field hungry for revenge, while Inashiro Jitsugyo fights to secure a third consecutive Koshien appearance. The footage highlights Furuya as Seidou’s starting pitcher, Sawamura waiting in the wings as the planned reliever, and Inashiro’s ace Narumiya looking every bit as determined as his opponents.
About the Daiya no A Series
Daiya no A follows Eijun Sawamura, a young pitcher who enrolls at the prestigious baseball powerhouse Seidou High School and sets his sights on becoming the best in the country.
The anime franchise launched in 2013, spanning a FIRST SEASON and SECOND SEASON before the new series actII aired from 2019 to 2020. Its sequel, Daiya no A actII -Second Season-, began broadcasting in April, with cour 2 set to kick off in October.
