A new collectible treat is on the way for fans of Magic Knight Rayearth (魔法騎士レイアース). Bandai Namco’s official e-commerce platform Premium Bandai — specifically its Candy Online Shop — will begin accepting pre-orders for the TV Anime “Magic Knight Rayearth” Twin Wafer on 20 August at 13:00 JST. The product is sold exclusively in BOX units of 20 pieces, priced at ¥3,960 (tax included).
What’s Inside
Each individually wrapped piece contains one metallic plastic card and two chocolate wafers. The card lineup spans 32 variants in total, covering character cards and story cards, as well as a Special Rare card featuring brand-new original artwork created exclusively for this product. Every single card in the set is finished in a sparkling metallic specification.

About Magic Knight Rayearth
Magic Knight Rayearth is a manga by the acclaimed creative collective CLAMP, originally serialised in Nakayoshi magazine and adapted into a TV anime in 1994. The story follows three second-year middle-school students — Hikaru Shidou, Umi Ryuuzaki, and Fuu Hououji — who are suddenly summoned to the magical world of Cephiro during a school trip to Tokyo Tower. There they learn that Princess Emeraude, whose prayers have long kept Cephiro at peace, has been taken captive, and that they must become the legendary Magic Knights to save her and the world.
Thirty years after the original broadcast, a new anime adaptation launched on 7 October 2024 to mark the anniversary.
