The production team behind TV anime Kikansha no Mahou wa Tokubetsu desu (帰還者の魔法は特別です) has released the first promotional video for Season 2, offering fans an early look at the new story, escalating battles, and glimpses into protagonist Desir’s past.
First PV Highlights
The PV features the main cast of characters — Desir Arman, Romantica Eru, Pram Schneizer, and Azest Kingscrown — set against scenes from the new season. Alongside fresh story footage, the video cuts to flashbacks of Desir’s past and increasingly fierce combat sequences.
Pre-Air Screening Event — October 3, 2026
Ahead of the broadcast premiere, a special advance screening event will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2026 at Shinjuku Baltic 9 in Tokyo, with the screening beginning at 18:50. Tickets are priced at ¥2,800.
A stage greeting will follow the screening, featuring the four lead voice actors:

Lottery ticket sales opened via Ticket Pia on August 21.
Story
Season 2 continues the story of Desir Arman, who has traveled back in time in order to prevent the catastrophic “Shadow Labyrinth” — a disaster that once brought about the destruction of the world — from occurring again.
Broadcast Information
Kikansha no Mahou wa Tokubetsu desu Season 2 will air on Fuji TV’s +Ultra programming block every Wednesday at 24:45, beginning in October 2026.
