A special POP UP STORE celebrating the wedding anniversary of Kirito and Asuna from Sword Art Online (SAO) has been announced. The event will run for a limited time at Shinjuku Marui Annex, 2F — “Annivroad by Bushiroad Creative Store” — in Tokyo, from Friday, October 23 to Monday, November 3, 2026.
About Sword Art Online
SAO is based on the novel series of the same name by Reki Kawahara, winner of the 15th Dengeki Novel Prize and boasting cumulative worldwide sales of over 30 million copies. The story follows protagonist Kirito as he navigates a next-generation VRMMORPG world. The first novel volume was released in April 2009, and the series has since been adapted into four TV anime seasons beginning in 2012. A brand-new original animated film, Sword Art Online: Integral Domain, is also confirmed for release in 2028.
