It has been officially announced that voice actress Ami Koshimizu is joining the TV anime Koko wa Ore ni Makasete Saki ni Ike to Itte kara 10-nen ga Tattara Densetsu ni Natteita. as Refi. Preview cuts from Episode 9, set to air on August 31, have also been released alongside the announcement.
Who Is Refi?
Refi is the current queen of the Kingdom of Mendiribal and the wife of Eric. She was once a member of the legendary hero party, serving as a Healing Guardian (Healer) specializing in holy magic — with abilities ranked among the greatest of all time. The character made her first appearance in Episode 8, which aired recently.
Episode 9: “Demon Beasts Lurking in the Darkness”
The series follows Luck, a warrior who fought alone to defeat the Demon King and save his party, only to find himself de-aged and starting a new life as Rock, an F-rank adventurer. In Episode 9, titled “Yami ni Hisomu Majuu-tachi” (Demon Beasts Lurking in the Darkness), Rock and his companions are investigating the noble pulling strings behind Kabino when they encounter an abnormal swarm of demon rats — including a giant demon rat several times larger than normal.

To celebrate Koshimizu’s casting, an official campaign is running on X (Twitter) with a hand-signed shikishi card from the actress as the prize. It has also been announced that the anime’s Original Soundtrack will go on sale on September 30.
