TV anime World Is Dancing, based on the manga by Mihara Kazuto, has revealed that the final scene of episode 10 introduces Oniyasha as a young adult. The production has announced that Shimazaki Nobunaga will voice Oniyasha (young adult), and has also unveiled an official visual of the character in this new stage of life.
Episode 11 “Komochizuki” — Preview and Synopsis
Alongside the casting announcement, the team released a preview, synopsis, and advance stills for episode 11, titled “Komochizuki.” In the episode, Inuou, head of the Inuouza troupe, receives a message summoning him to Sanjōbōmon Gosho. Despite having spent his life in solitude, honing his dance alone, he resolves to perform before an audience with the backing of Yoshimitsu. Meanwhile, a taller, deeper-voiced Oniyasha spends his days dancing tirelessly before guests.
Shimazaki Nobunaga’s Comment
“It’s common for someone else to play the childhood version of a character I’m cast in, but inheriting a role from its younger years is rare for me — it makes me stand up straight. Hanamori-san and the entire cast have built and passed on Oniyasha as a precious character, and I intend to carry him forward with everything I have. About World Is Dancing
World Is Dancing follows Oniyasha, a curious and beautiful young boy living in a turbulent era, who encounters a variety of people and gradually forges a new form of dance. Hanamori Yumiri voiced Oniyasha through his childhood and adolescence.
