ภาพวิชวลหลักของ動畫ทีวี #ゾンビさがしてます แสดงตัวละครหลัก 5 คนในสไตล์สดใสและเต็มพลังงาน

The TV anime adaptation of Katsuo‘s manga #ゾンビさがしてます (#Zombie Sagashitemasu) has set its premiere date for October 3, 2026. The announcement came alongside a main PV, main visual, additional cast members, and theme song reveals.

Story

Set in a world where 90% of humanity has turned into zombies, the series follows Aki, a girl who grew up in a village isolated from the outside world. She sets out on a journey beyond the village walls to search for her father. The series bills itself as a “zombie × youth comedy.”

Main PV & Visual

The main PV opens with a striking line from protagonist Aki: “I promised — I’ll be the one to kill my dad!” The trailer introduces newly announced characters Mikazuki and Touka, and shows Aki and her friends beginning a new life in a zombie-filled world. The main visual depicts the five lead characters in a vibrant, energetic pop-art style.

Cast Comments

Yoko Hikasa (Mikazuki)

This work has a unique atmosphere all its own, and I tried to blend naturally into it while giving Mikazuki a purposeful character. I hope the feelings, loneliness, and joy she holds inside will quietly show through at just the right moments. Enjoy the zombie world to the fullest! As for fighting zombies — I’d rather not. I’d escape in a sports car!

Makoto Koichi (Touka)

When I read the original manga, I was surprised that a zombie story could unfold so gently and peacefully. The heart of the story isn’t the zombies themselves, but the everyday lives of people living alongside them — and I find that perspective fascinating. Touka is an original character created for the anime, so I hope manga fans look forward to seeing how she fits into the story!

Chiba Takayanagi (Takamo)

The brightness and energy of Aki and her friends in such a dire world really lifted my spirits. Takamo has fought to survive in her own way, and her strength is something I genuinely admire. I can’t wait for everyone to see the anime!

Ayano Shimada (Saigo)

Saigo is Takamo’s younger brother — gentle and calm, a contrast to his composed and stern sister. He seems to have complicated feelings about how she’s changed. My weapon of choice against zombies? An umbrella — it works as both a weapon and a shield, and keeps the mess off you!

Kosuke Toriumi (Aki’s Father)

I play the father. He’s still a mystery. That’s really all I can say. The charm of this work is the contrast between the horror of zombies and the warm, fluffy atmosphere — it’s a show you can watch with your shoulders relaxed.

Theme Songs

The opening theme is 「ラキラキ」(Raki Raki) by すりぃ (Suri), and the ending theme is 「ソフトアポカリプス」(Soft Apocalypse) by cadode.

Comment from すりぃ

Everyone has probably imagined at least once what it would be like if the world were overrun by zombies. What I find beautiful about this series is how the characters hold onto hope even in the most desperate of circumstances. The world can change its shape depending on how you look at it — that’s the feeling I put into “Raki Raki.”

Comment from cadode

A post-apocalypse where even seeing tomorrow is a matter of life and death — yet there are people who find joy and charge forward with positivity. That’s real too. We love the world and the pop sensibility of this series, and we’re thrilled to be part of it. “Soft Apocalypse” packs in fun, action, and momentum — please enjoy it!
