The live stage show Ninjageki “NARUTO-ナルト-“, based on Masashi Kishimoto‘s manga, has released its official “Team 7” key visual. The image captures Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, and Kakashi standing atop the grand roof of the Nanaza theatre, surveying the cityscape of Kyoto below. Comments from the four lead cast members have also been shared.

About the Show

Ninjageki “NARUTO-ナルト-” is a non-verbal live show — meaning no spoken dialogue. Instead, the production conveys its story through physical performance including action and acrobatics, alongside projection mapping, illusion techniques, and the unique stage machinery of the historic Nanaza kabuki theatre. The show runs from February to June 2027 at Nanaza Theatre, Kyoto.

Yuri Takahashi (as Uzumaki Naruto)

I’m Yuri Takahashi, playing Uzumaki Naruto. Being able to be part of a work I’ve loved since childhood truly feels like a dream. Both non-verbal performance and a long-run production are firsts for me, so I won’t pretend I have no nerves — but my excitement far outweighs them. NARUTO has been loved around the world for many years, and I’ll give everything I have to make Ninjageki “NARUTO” a show that the whole world can love too. Please cheer us on!

REI (as Uchiha Sasuke)

I’m truly delighted to be playing Uchiha Sasuke in Ninjageki “NARUTO.” Being entrusted with such an important role in my very first stage production, in a series I’ve cherished since childhood, is a great honour. I want to convey not only Sasuke’s strength, but also the feelings and conflicts he holds within — and I’ll give it everything I’ve got.

Yui Ogawa (as Haruno Sakura)

Since the announcement, the response has already been enormous, which reminds me just how beloved this work is around the world. I will pour everything into performing as a character who lives inside the world of NARUTO right before the audience’s eyes, and I hope to exceed everyone’s expectations. HIROMA (as Hatake Kakashi)

It is a great honour to be involved with a work loved across the globe. I will face both this production and the character of Hatake Kakashi with full commitment. I hope to deliver the same emotion I felt when I first read the original manga — through the form of a non-verbal ninja live show that transcends the language barrier — to everyone in the audience.
