The TV anime Yu Yu Hakusho (幽☆遊☆白書), based on the original manga by Yoshihiro Togashi, has launched a collaboration campaign with Premior (プレミオール), the premium line of haircare brand Lasana. The campaign is currently ongoing.

Large-Scale Ads at Ikebukuro Station

The centerpiece of the collaboration is a set of large-format advertisements installed on the Orange Road corridor on the B1 floor of Ikebukuro Station (Tobu Tojo Line). The ads are on display for one week only, from September 21 to 27, and feature newly drawn artwork of both Kurama and his demon fox alter ego, Yoko Kurama, created exclusively for this campaign.

“Kurama’s Beautiful Hair Academy” — The Concept Behind the Collab

The campaign is titled “Kurama’s Beautiful Hair Academy” (蔵馬の美髪指南塾). Its concept draws inspiration from a memorable scene in the anime in which an enemy asks Kurama, “Do you use hair treatment?” Combined with Kurama’s role as a mentor who trains his allies, he has been officially appointed as Premior’s special instructor.

Web CM and Digital Signage

Alongside the print ads, a web commercial narrated by voice actress Megumi Ogata is being screened on digital signage in the same Orange Road area. An official social media giveaway campaign is also running in conjunction with the collaboration.
