Fashion brand GU is launching an autumn/winter apparel collaboration with Chiikawa under the theme “Let’s enjoy even snowy days!” The collection goes on sale from Friday, 20 November 2026 via GU’s official online store and at branches nationwide across Japan.
About Chiikawa
Chiikawa is a manga series by illustrator Nagano, which originated on X (formerly Twitter). The story follows the endearing yet occasionally hard-luck daily lives of Chiikawa, Hachiware, Usagi, and a colourful cast of companions.
The franchise’s first theatrical film, Eiga Chiikawa: Ningyo no Shima no Himitsu (Chiikawa the Movie: Secret of the Mermaid Island), opened on 24 July 2026 and grossed ¥12.2 billion with 8.49 million admissions over its first 38 days (through 30 August). The film adapts the fan-favourite “Siren Arc” and has generated widespread buzz on social media.

Sweat Parka
