Bandai Spirits has announced Ichiban Kuji Kinnikuman: Choujin Chikemei-gun, a lottery prize series dedicated entirely to Kinnikuman’s legendary Choujin Chikemei-gun squad. In-store sales begin on Saturday, October 17, 2026, with online sales opening on Monday, October 19, 2026 at 5:00 PM JST. Each draw is priced at ¥900 (tax included).
About Kinnikuman
Kinnikuman is a martial-arts manga by the duo Yudetamago — scenario writer Shimada Takashi and artist Nakai Yoshinori — which began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump in 1979. The story follows Kinnikuman, a clumsy, good-natured superhuman from Planet Kinniku who gradually rises to become the greatest fighter in the superhuman world. The series continues today in Weekly Playboy and Shu-Pure NEWS, with cumulative sales surpassing 85 million copies. The original anime launched in 1983, and the spin-off toy line “Kinkeshi” sold over 180 million figures.
A new anime series, Kinnikuman: Perfect Origin Arc, aired Season 1 from July to September 2024 and Season 2 from January to March 2025. Season 3 has already been confirmed.
Who Are the Choujin Chikemei-gun?
The Choujin Chikemei-gun (超人血盟軍) was formed by Kinniku Ataru — Kinnikuman’s older brother — who disguised himself as the true “Kinnikuman Soldier” to assemble an elite team of warriors. The four members are:
- Brocken Jr.
- The Ninja
- Ashuraman
- Buffaloman
This marks the first time all four members have been sculpted in the premium MASTERLISE figure line.
