The official website for the Bless TV anime — based on the manga by Yukino Sonoyama — dropped a new character promotional video on Thursday, announcing that Yoshiki Nakajima will voice Joe Osaki in the series.

The anime is being produced at A-1 Pictures under the direction of Shōtarō Kitamura (Makeine: Too Many Losing Heroines!), with Takayuki Kikuchi (episode director on Solo Leveling and Kaguya-sama: Love is War) serving as assistant director. Fukurou Kamiza (Non Non Biyori Nonstop) is handling series composition and scripts.
Honoka Yokoyama (Oshi no Ko Season 2, Saint Cecilia and Pastor Lawrence) is both character designer and chief animation director, joined in that role by Tetsuya Kawakami (A Certain Magical Index, Sword Art Online) and Reina Iwasaki (VTuber Legend: How I Went Viral after Forgetting to Turn Off My Stream). Ryō Yoshimata (Somali and the Forest Spirit, After the Rain) is composing the score.

About the Manga
Bless is an inspirational fashion manga that follows Aia, who was told she was born to be a model, and Jun, who was bullied over her freckles. Together, the two fight to reclaim the power to define themselves, while the story poses sharp questions about beauty standards and whether talent truly trumps hard work.
Sonoyama launched the series in Kodansha’s Shonen Magazine Edge in 2022, and it currently runs in Monthly Shonen Sirius. The ninth volume was published on October 8, and the series has surpassed 1.25 million copies in circulation. Kodansha USA Publishing handles the English release in print and digitally via the K MANGA service.
In addition to the anime, Amazon Prime Video will stream a live-action adaptation of Bless exclusively worldwide in spring 2027.
