Kadokawa revealed the first main promotional video, main visual, lead cast members, and a 2027 premiere window for the television anime adaptation of Ichi Yukishiro‘s manga Skull Dragon’s Precious Daughter (Hone Dragon no Manamusume).
Main Cast
- Kana Hanazawa as Eve, a girl abandoned in the Forest of Scraps
- Kazuhiko Inoue as Nemu, the Skull Dragon who raised Eve
Story
Deep in the Forest of Scraps — a place where all manner of things are thrown away — an ancient dragon spends his final days in quiet solitude, until an abandoned child suddenly appears before him. The girl is Eve, just five years old yet somehow already surviving the forest’s many dangers. Taking pity on her, the dragon decides to raise her as his own daughter, even as his remaining time grows short.
After five years together, the dragon breathes his last, leaving Eve to face the world alone. What he never knew, however, is that Eve possesses far greater potential than he ever imagined — and their reunion may come sooner than either of them expects.
With his resurrected body on borrowed time, the skull dragon sets out on an adventure alongside his headstrong human daughter, determined to help her master her magical abilities before it is too late.
