The popular original TV anime Lycoris Recoil is heading back to Miyakojima for another collaboration event in 2026. Running under the title LYCORIS RECOIL × Blue Turtle Collaboration 2026, the event spans café dining at Blue Turtle and a special stay at Hotel Atoll Emerald Miyakojima, complete with exclusive merchandise.
About Lycoris Recoil
Lycoris Recoil is an original TV anime directed by Adachi Shingo, known for his character design and chief animation director work on Sword Art Online and the WORKING!! series. The story follows two “Lycoris” agents of the secret organization DA (Direct Attack): the free-spirited optimist Nishikigi Chisato (voiced by Asai Chika) and the cool, efficiency-driven Inoue Takina (voiced by Wakayama Shion). Stage adaptations were held in January 2023 and June 2024, and a new short film, Lycoris Recoil Friends are thieves of time., has been streaming on YouTube since April 2025.
Collaboration Menu at Blue Turtle
The Blue Turtle café will be decorated with newly drawn illustrations and chibi character panels, and will serve a lineup of Miyakojima-exclusive collaboration dishes, including:
- Steak using Miyakojima brand beef
- A turtle-shaped ice cream cake made with Miyakojima mango and figs
Themed drinks are also on offer, color-matched to each character: Chisato’s Hibiscus Soda, Takina’s Blue Passion Soda, and Kurumi’s Tropical Pine Soda, among others. Customers who order a collaboration menu item will receive a random original coaster as a bonus.
Collaboration Rooms at Hotel Atoll Emerald
Hotel Atoll Emerald Miyakojima is offering a collaboration room stay plan across five specially decorated rooms, each adorned with character panels and décor featuring newly drawn and chibi illustrations. Each stay plan includes a set of exclusive goods per guest per night:
- Replica key card
- A5 clear file
- Photo cards (set of 2)
- Ticket-style card
- Souvenir-style towel
- Sticker
Guests receive one set per night stayed — two nights means two sets, three nights means three sets.
Merchandise Sales
The hotel’s first-floor shop will sell collaboration goods daily from 07:30 to 22:00. Every 2,000 yen (tax included) spent earns a random original postcard (one of five designs). Items on sale include newly drawn aloha shirt designs, a shisa version, and motif-pattern goods.
Event Dates
LYCORIS RECOIL × Blue Turtle Collaboration 2026 runs from Saturday, December 19, 2025 to Sunday, February 28, 2027. Full details are available on the official event website.
