ปกซิงเกิล "うららか" ของ Da-iCE เพลงประกอบซีรีส์ Nami Uraraka ni, Meoto Biyori ภาคต่อ

Japanese group Da-iCE has been officially announced as the theme song performers for the sequel drama Nami Uraraka ni, Meoto Biyori (波うららかに、めおと日和), based on the manga by Nishika Hachi, currently serialized in Kodansha’s Comic DAYS.

New Song “Uraraka” Written Exclusively for the Drama

The theme song, titled “Uraraka”, was composed specifically for this production. It will be released digitally at midnight on October 16 — the day after the drama’s premiere episode airs. A special promotional video featuring the song alongside drama footage has also been made available.

Hanamura Sota’s Comments

Hanamura Sota of Da-iCE revealed that he had been a huge fan of the first season’s theme song, “Muchuu” by BE:FIRST, even calling it his favorite song of 2025. When offered the chance to contribute to the sequel, he made it a priority to carry some of that spirit forward into the new track’s melody and phrasing.

“I was so determined to be part of this project that I wrote more than ten songs. I’m so happy they chose the one that felt the most joyful. And since Fuji TV was the first broadcaster I remember as a child, having Da-iCE’s first Fuji TV drama theme is truly an honor.”

He described “Uraraka” as a song that could resonate with couples at any stage — from a new romance to a long marriage — as well as with close friends and family. While the production team requested a “wedding song” feel, he was careful to keep the lyrics broad enough for everyone to connect with.

Cast Reactions

Yoshine Kyoko, who plays Ebata Natsumi, said she had been eagerly anticipating the song from the moment she heard Da-iCE would be involved. After listening to it together with the staff after a shoot, she felt the track perfectly captured the growth of the two leads.

“The very first phrase grabbed my heart. Just imagining it playing over the title card already moves me.”

Honda Kyoya, who plays Natsumi’s husband Taki Masa, admitted he expected something more upbeat from Da-iCE, but was pleasantly surprised. He described “Uraraka” as a song he’d want to listen to on repeat during the coming cold season, and said it beautifully reflects the couple’s journey from the first season to this one.

About the Drama
