About BanG Dream! Ave Mujica

BanG Dream! Ave Mujica is an original TV anime produced by Sanzigen under director Kakimoto Kodai, based on Bushiroad’s BanG Dream! media mix. It aired on TOKYO MX, BS Nittele, and other channels from 2 January to 27 March 2025.

Synopsis

After losing both her friends and her home, Toyokawa Shoko assembles four other girls to form Ave Mujica — a band whose members perform behind masks, concealing their true identities. The group achieves commercial success, but tension over the band’s direction begins to fracture the members from within, and a major turning point arrives mid-national tour.

The series is noted for its 3DCG live-performance sequences from Sanzigen and its layered character drama, as each member navigates the gap between their stage persona and real self.
