Yumeneconnect, the risqué comedy manga by Kou Sawada, has been officially announced for a TV anime adaptation. The manga has been running in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine since September 2024, and Kodansha is set to release the series’ 10th compiled volume this Friday.
Story
The manga follows Yūhi Takamiya, a sickly high school boy who has been absent from school since his very first day. Isolated and lonely, he one day shouts out in his room, “I want friends!” As if in answer, an alien named Nano from the planet Pokotsun appears before him and begins aggressively pitching him a series of absurd products — including a being classified as the most dangerous life form in the galaxy — each one guaranteed to make Yūhi’s life a little more chaotic.
