Manga artist Shunrai has kicked off a brand-new serialization titled Yōjo ni Natta Boku no Dungeon Kōryaku Haishin (full title: The Story of How I Secretly Dove into Dungeons After a TS, Got Exposed by Idols, and Became a Famous Streamer) on KimiComi, the web manga platform run by Kill Time Communication, starting October 20.
Story
The series is set in a world where dungeons have suddenly appeared across the globe. Although the emergence of monsters and the supernatural powers gained through leveling up initially threw society into chaos, dungeons have since become a fixture of everyday life — and dungeon streaming, where explorers broadcast their runs live, has exploded in popularity.
The protagonist, Haru, was once an ordinary adult man until a strange twist of fate transformed him into a young girl (a so-called TS, or gender transformation). Having lost his job as a result, Haru scrapes by as a low-profile dungeon streamer. Everything changes when he steps in to rescue Ruru, a beautiful idol-style streamer, from a dangerous situation — an act that inadvertently blows his cover and sets the story’s chaotic, comedic adventure into motion.
