Japanese health equipment brand Tanita has announced a new collaboration with TV anime BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War, releasing two limited items: a character voice timer and a digital thermo-hygrometer. This marks the second collaboration tied to the broadcast of BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War – Katharsis, the final cour of the series, which began airing on 25 July 2026.
Voice Timer TD-436 BLEACH Model
The centerpiece of the collaboration is the TD-436 BLEACH Model voice timer, featuring newly recorded voice lines from four beloved characters:
- Ichigo Kurosaki (CV: Masakazu Morita)
- Rukia Kuchiki (CV: Fumiko Orikasa)
- Renji Abarai (CV: Kentaro Ito)
- Toshiro Hitsugaya (CV: Romi Park)
When the set time expires, the chosen character delivers one of five selectable voice messages. These range from encouraging lines — such as Ichigo’s “Time’s up. You worked hard” and Hitsugaya’s “Time’s up. Did you give it everything you had?” — to personality-driven quips like Rukia’s “Didn’t you hear me? It’s over” and Renji’s “Did you notice? It’s already done.”
The timer also includes a special voice feature that lets users play each character’s iconic “Bankai” cry on demand. All voice recordings were made exclusively for this product. A stereo earphone jack is built in for use in quiet environments. Price: ¥4,950 (tax included).
Digital Thermo-Hygrometer TT-CU BLEACH Model
The TT-CU BLEACH Model digital thermo-hygrometer comes in three variants, each featuring a deformed chibi-style illustration of a different character set against a black background designed to make each character pop. It displays indoor temperature and humidity to help maintain a comfortable living environment. Price: ¥3,520 each (tax included).
Pre-Order Details
Both items are available exclusively via pre-order on the Tanita Online Shop. The pre-order window runs from 23 October to 9 November at 3:00 p.m. JST. Shipping is scheduled to begin from late January 2027.
