Shogakukan’s digital manga platform Manga ONE announced on Friday that writer Toshimichi Uzō will launch a new manga series titled Yome wo Dungeon de Koroshitai (I Want to Kill My Bride in a Dungeon), illustrated by artist Yuitsu, on the platform this Tuesday.
Uzō’s Rising Profile
Uzō is best known as the author of the light novel series My Sweet Marriage to My Ex-Nemesis (Japanese title: Soshiki no Shukuteki to Kekkon Shitara Mecha Amai), which is currently being adapted into a television anime. The first light novel volume was published in October 2023 under Kadokawa’s Dengeki Bunko imprint, with illustrations by Kewi Hayashi. The fourth volume shipped in August 2025, and the fifth volume is scheduled for release on November 10.
Manga Adaptation and Licensing
A manga adaptation drawn by Shīme (Si-me) began serialization in Kadokawa’s Dengeki Maoh magazine in November 2024. Kadokawa has published two compiled volumes so far — the first in June 2025 and the second on July 27.
One Peace Books licensed the manga adaptation for overseas markets in May, with the first English-language volume set to release on March 16, 2027.
