Story
The series follows a dedicated gamer who goes by the player name Zephyrus. Having poured over 8,000 hours into the legendary dungeon-crawl game Dungeon Shūkatsu no Susume (Encouragement for Job Hunting in Dungeons, or Dan-Katsu for short), he is devastated when all of his save data is suddenly wiped — and dies of shock. He awakens to find himself reincarnated inside the world of Dan-Katsu itself, a world no player has ever conquered. Wasting no time, he selects the classic all-powerful Hero job class and begins a “new game” in this living dungeon world.
