The official X (formerly Twitter) account for the anime adaptation of Senren * Banka — the visual novel by Yuzu Soft — launched on Thursday, confirming that the project will take the form of a television series. The anime is scheduled to premiere in 2027.
Alongside the announcement, the staff revealed that the original visual novel has surpassed 1 million copies in worldwide cumulative sales. To mark the milestone, original character designer Kobuichi contributed a celebratory illustration.
Original Voice Cast Returns
All four lead voice actors from the visual novel will reprise their roles in the anime adaptation:
- Sora Haruka (Eri Sendai) as Yoshino Tomotake
- Yūki Kotorii (Natsumi Takamori) as Mako Hitachi
- Mikan Satō (Nozomi Yamamoto) as Murasame
- Sawa Sawasawa (Atsumi Tanezaki) as Lena Liechtenauer
KOTOKO, who performed the opening theme for the original visual novel, will also perform the anime’s opening theme song.
About Senren * Banka
Yuzu Soft originally released Senren * Banka in Japan in July 2016 to commemorate the company’s 10th anniversary. Sekai Project announced an English localization in July 2017, but Nekonyan later took over publishing duties and released the English version in February 2020. The game subsequently launched on the Nintendo Switch in May 2022.
