  • Hajime Hyakkoku returns from Ace of Diamond Act II to compose the music.

Broadcast and Streaming

Ace of Diamond Act II Second Season premiered on April 5 on TV Tokyo and its affiliated stations, as well as AT-X. The anime is also streaming on Netflix in Japan.

About the Franchise

Yūji Terajima launched the original Ace of Diamond baseball manga in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine in 2006. The series concluded in January 2015 at 47 volumes. Terajima then launched Ace of Diamond Act II in August 2015; it ended in October 2022 at 34 volumes.

The franchise’s anime history spans the original 75-episode series (2013), Ace of Diamond: Second Season with 51 episodes (April 2015), and Ace of Diamond Act II with 52 episodes (April 2019). Crunchyroll streamed all three series as they aired in Japan. The manga also won the shōnen category of the 34th Kodansha Manga Awards in 2010 and has inspired a series of stage plays.

Mad Cave Studios’ Nakama Press imprint has licensed the manga for English release under the title Ace of the Diamond in a 3-in-1 omnibus format, with the first volume scheduled for March 23, 2027.
