Muroi Kei’s manga Ai Shite Hoshii no wa Ore ja Nai noni! ~BL Game no Akuyaku Reisoku ni Tensei shita noni Kirawarenakute Komattemasu~ (“I Don’t Want You to Love Me! ~I Reincarnated as the Villain in a BL Game but Nobody Hates Me and It’s a Problem~”) launched its first two print volumes simultaneously today, July 8, 2026, published by Kodansha.
Story
Tanaka, an ordinary high school student, suddenly finds himself reincarnated as Arthur, the villainous young noble of a school-life BL game. Recalling the game’s darker routes — including a grim “dungeon end” and a disturbing “tentacle end” — Arthur realizes his only path to survival is engineering the story’s true happy ending: getting the game’s protagonist together with the First Prince, who happens to be Arthur’s own fiancé.
Enlisting his dependable attendant Edgar, Arthur schemes to play matchmaker between the prince and the protagonist. His plans quickly go sideways, however, when BL flags start raising themselves — not for the protagonist, but for Arthur himself.
