The TV anime 「追放されたチート付与魔術師は気ままなセカンドライフを謳歌する。」 (The Expelled Cheat Skill Enchanter Enjoys His Carefree Second Life), based on the manga by Muzushima Asa and Gyoumuyomochi serialized in Kodansha’s “Monthly Manga Kichi,” has unveiled its Main Visual, Main PV, and a new wave of cast announcements. The series is set to premiere on October 6, 2026 on TV Tokyo affiliates and AT-X.
Main Visual & Main PV
The Main Visual centers on a cheerful Rain, flanked by his “Blue Crystal” guild companions Lily, Elsie, and Nina, alongside Margaret and her adorable dog Donguri, as well as the assassin Mirabel. A cast of ominous figures looms in the background, hinting at the conflicts ahead.
The Main PV follows Rain as he forges new bonds and steps into his freewheeling second life, capturing both lively moments with his companions and intense clashes against powerful foes. It was also confirmed that the opening theme will be “Ember Torch” (エンバートーチ) by sumika.

Yamazaki Takumi fully committed to the role, greeting fans in “dog language” — “Wan! Wawan (Hey! It’s Donguri!)” — and admitted, “I’m not sure I’m worthy of playing such an adorable character??” He also revealed that when Donguri calls for Margaret, he barks “waon” to sound like he’s calling out to his owner.

Story
Rain Garland, a cheat-level skill enchanter who was expelled from his guild, sets out on a new path alongside companions who each carry their own wounds. It’s an isekai fantasy about finding one’s own way to live.
