The TV anime Pan Dorobou (パンどろぼう) has released a character PV spotlighting its titular hero — a self-styled bread thief on a quest to find the world’s greatest loaf.
The roughly 20-second clip, which includes newly animated footage, captures the character sneaking into a bakery and then bolting away with a loaf of bread slung over his shoulder in a burst of dynamic energy.
Live Talk Event
On September 26, the production held a live-streamed talk event — 「アニメ『パンどろぼう』生配信トークイベント」 — featuring three members of the voice cast: Ayaka Asai (Pan Dorobou), Junichi Suwabe (the bakery uncle), and Aki Toyosaki (the fake Pan Dorobou). The event included discussions about the series and the recording process, as well as a live dubbing segment and variety corners that put the cast’s acting chops to the test.
Broadcast Information
Pan Dorobou premieres on NHK Eテレ on Friday, October 2, 2026, airing every Friday at 18:40 JST.
