Fans of Card Captor Sakura have a new piece of merchandise to look forward to: the Card Captor Sakura Oshibrella, a folding umbrella now available for pre-order through Premium Bandai.
What Is an Oshibrella?
The “Oshibrella” is an umbrella series designed for fans who want to enjoy their favourite characters and series in a subtle, personal way. The concept centres on decorating the inside of the umbrella rather than the outside, letting the owner savour the world of their favourite work without broadcasting it to everyone around them.
Simple Outside, Stunning Inside
The exterior of the Card Captor Sakura Oshibrella is a clean, everyday pastel pink that draws no particular attention. Open it up, however, and the interior reveals monochrome illustrations of the iconic Sealing Wand and Clow Cards from the series, instantly evoking the world of Card Captor Sakura.
The matching pink storage pouch also carries series motifs, so the Card Captor Sakura charm is present even when the umbrella is folded away.
Sun and Rain Protection
The umbrella is a dual-use sun-and-rain model, offering a light-blocking rate of 99.9% or higher and a UV-shielding rate of 99% or higher — ideal for bright, sunny days.
